FarmTrace documentation is organized around the work you are trying to complete. Use the path below to avoid configuration detail that does not apply to your role. Use the top navigation to select Dsync or Device Kit. Formula language and formula reference are grouped inside the Dsync sidebar, and each product has its own focused navigation.

I capture field records

Learn the field workflow, local capture, lookups, and sync checks in Dsync.

I configure Dsync tables

Configure the tables, downloaded columns, visibility, role rules, and filters used by Dsync.

I connect hardware

Learn how profiles identify devices and how transports expose operations.

I write calculations

Start with Dsync formula syntax, references, context, and examples.

I am diagnosing a failure

Work from the visible symptom to the smallest useful check.

A good first check

Before changing configuration, write down:
  • the account or role that saw the problem;
  • the form, table, device, or operation involved;
  • whether the device was online at the time; and
  • the exact error or unexpected result.
That context helps your administrator or FarmTrace support reproduce the same path.
If you are new to the platform, start with Dsync. It gives you the clearest view of how field work, connected devices, and synchronized records fit together.
